This Shipping Policy applies to all orders placed through Samya by Samishtha's official website. By placing an order, you agree to the terms mentioned below.

1. Shipping Locations: 

We currently ship across most cities and towns within India. Delivery availability depends on the courier serviceability in your area. Customers can check service availability by entering their PIN code during checkout or on the product page.

If your location is not serviceable due to logistical limitations, we will notify you promptly and process a refund if applicable. At present, we do not offer international shipping.

2. Order Processing Time:

All jewellery pieces are carefully packed and dispatched from our Delhi warehouse.

• Orders are usually processed and dispatched within 1–2 business days 

• Business days: Monday to Saturday (excluding public holidays)

During high-demand periods, festive seasons, sales, or unforeseen circumstances, processing may take slightly longer. In such cases, customers will be informed via email, SMS, or WhatsApp. Once dispatched, you will receive shipping confirmation along with tracking details.

3. Orders and Payments

• Placing an order creates a proposal to purchase; we accept it upon confirmation email and dispatch.

• All prices are in INR, inclusive of GST (as applicable), but exclude shipping unless stated.

• Prices may change without notice - you pay the price listed at checkout.

• We accept major credit/debit cards, UPI, net banking, wallets, and COD (for eligible orders/locations).

• Payments are processed securely via third-party gateways (we do not store card details).

• In case of payment failure, we may cancel the order.

• We reserve the right to refuse/cancel orders (e.g., pricing errors, stock issues, suspected fraud) - we'll refund if paid.

4. Pricing, Availability, and Product Information

• All products are handcrafted; slight variations in color, finish, or size may occur due to materials and craftsmanship.

• We make every effort to display accurate images and descriptions, but actual products may vary slightly.

• Availability is subject to stock; if out of stock after order, we'll notify and refund.

5. Delivery and Shipping

• We ship only within India (domestic only).

• Processing: 1-3 business days.

• Delivery: 3-7 business days (longer for remote areas).

• Free shipping on orders above ₹549; otherwise, standard charges apply.

• Tracking provided upon dispatch.

• We are not liable for delays due to force majeure (holidays, weather, courier issues).

• Risk passes to you upon delivery.

6. Returns, Refunds, and Exchanges

• 3-day return/exchange window for unused items in original condition.

• Exchanges: We cover return shipping within India.

• Refunds: To the original payment method (minus shipping if applicable).

• Exceptions: No returns on worn items (hygiene), custom pieces, sale items, or used jewellery.

• Defective/damaged/wrong items: Contact within 7 days for replacement or refund.

7. Intellectual Property

• All content (designs, images, logos, text, trademarks like "Samya by Samishtha") is our property or licensed to us.

• You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or use without written permission.

• Any user-generated content (reviews, photos) grants us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use.

8. User Conduct and Content

• You agree not to post harmful, offensive, or infringing content.

• We may remove content or terminate access for violations.

9. Limitation of Liability

• Our liability is limited to the order value.

• We are not liable for indirect losses (e.g., loss of profits, data).

• No warranties beyond those implied by law.

10. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

• Governed by the laws of India.

• Disputes subject to exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Delhi, India.

• We encourage amicable resolution first - contact us before legal action.

11. Force Majeure

We are not liable for delays or failures due to events beyond our control (e.g., natural disasters, strikes).

12. Miscellaneous

• If any provision is invalid, others remain enforceable.

• No waiver of breach implies future waiver.

• These Terms (with Privacy, Shipping, Return Policies) form the entire agreement.
